Photo Submission

• You may enter up to 4 images per category, and may enter as many categories as you wish. However you cannot enter the same series or images into more than one category.
• There is no specific topic for any of two categories. Only for the Photojournalism & Documentary category, images must be taken in 2009-2010.
• All entries must be submitted by E-mail no later than Midnight (Eastern Standard Time: GMT-5:00) July 10th, 2010.
• Send your entries to photocontest@cafelitt.ca or click here for photo upload.
• In the message, clearly indicate your full name, address, telephone number, and the title of the category you want to enter (if you participate in both categories, then two separate e-mails must be sent). Please use your full name as the name of the file following by the image number (i.e. johnsmith.jpg).
• Submit all photos in JPEG format, 300 DPI. The shortest edge should be at least 30cm/12inch. Images should be in the proper orientation for viewing; it will be viewed as submitted. 
• All entrants must be able to supply a high resolution image suitable for printing in media and an exhibition should the image be required.
• The entry fee is 10 CAD (7 €) per category to be paid:

Legal Terms

By entering the Competition You hereby accept these Competition Rules and the Terms and Conditions.

With proper credits to the photographer and a reference to the CafeLitt annual photo contest, entrants give CafeLitt the right to publish their photograph on the CafeLitt Website, and use them at any CafeLitt exhibition or publication. 

You warrant and represent, in respect of each entry submitted by you, as follows:

• You are the sole owner and author of each Entry
• You have the right to make your entry available to the Competition
• Each Entry does not infringe upon the copyrights, trademarks, contract rights, or any other intellectual property rights of any third person or entity, or violate any person's rights of privacy or publicity
• You confirm that each person depicted in the Entry has granted permission to be portrayed as shown
